[sic] film is an independent production company based in stockholm, founded in 2015 by producer siri hjorton wagner. the company produces fiction across formats, features and shorts, spanning arthouse and genre, originals and adaptations.
productions have screened at sundance, berlinale, venice film festival, toronto film festival, SXSW and clermont-ferrand, and received multiple guldbagge awards and nominations. in 2025, the short film Utan Kelly/Without Kelly, directed by lovisa sirén, won the orizzonti award for best short film at venice film festival, and screened at sundance 2026, and the psychological horror feature Hemmet/The Home, directed by mattias j skoglund and based on the novel by mats strandberg, premiered at SXSW and has sold to over 30 territories.
